This model is based on the Walthers Platinum Line International Steel Bay Window caboose, which is the closest available mass-produced model of the B&O C-24 and C-26 class caboose. The thick plastic window inserts are replaced with thin window glazing. Unique custom-made simulated screens are added, along with scratch-built jeweled marker lights.
The caboose is finished in a prototypical paint scheme with silver-gray roof, gray ends, and yellow handrails, and custom-printed decals.
